Wow - thank you so much! I am excited to listen to these.. but am going to wait until I see the last season just in case. (And that means I have to wait 'til it's on DVD) I'm a huge fan of The Wire, and also of you, Marc. I was thrilled to see the episode that you were in!

Anyway.. thanks for all you do, not just this!

Wow, great choice - I have been enamored of The Wire since Day 1. I think I want to have Ed and David's babies, or at least fawn over them in some mutually-embarrassing way.

Will the CEM engage with these fine, community-minded folks in the future? I can't think of a better combination of passionate, committed people who might be a force in Bawmer than "Steiner, Simon, and Burns".

Actually, you can enter the RSS feed for the Marc Steiner blog. As long as it has enclosures in the feed, any podcatcher--Juice, iTunes, FeedStation, etc.--will download the enclosure based upon the settings in the podcatcher application.

Marc,

Wonderful stuff. Very glad you are still at work informing your listeners and others in the city and state. The only downside of listening to the interviews is a reminder of what we've lost. at least for the time being. Best to Valerie.

Marc and team, wonderful show! Looking forward to more.

I especially liked the crack about what happens to those who are ground up by the political forces of the institutions they are trying to work with.

The Marc Steiner Show Lives on!

Woohoo again! You guys rock.

Your instructions work like a charm, the two podcasts downloaded immediately.

This is nice not only because it is so easy. Another aspect is that, when mp3 files are downloaded to the computer and then transferred to the iPod, they play continuously. Files downloaded through iTunes come with a stopcode. One podcast will play, then stop until the user selects another.

Ron-

It's easy to subscribe to any podcast using iTunes, even ones that aren't available in the iTunes Store. To subscribe, find and copy the podcast's feed URL. In the "Advanced" menu, select "Subscribe to Podcast" and paste the feed URL into the dialog box.

The URL for the CEM podcast is
http://www.switchpod.com/users/cem/feed.xml

This way, your ITUNES should update whenever we add a new podcast.

Let me know if you have any problems.
